Rules of Geocaching Bingo

The bingo game will start with a with a sign up cache where you will get a code word that will allow you to sign up to play bingo at www.cachunuts.com. You must also place a typical caching item in the bucket that will become part of the prize for winning one of the bingos.

2 or 3 times a week groups of washers will be placed somewhere along the Wasatch Front. A group of washers will consist of 5 washers placed close together where you can park in one place and find all five washers within easy walking distance. Each washer will have a number and a code word on it. The number will be between 1 and 75 and will correspond with the number on your bingo card. If a number on a washer matches a number on your bingo card then you can log in and click on that number. You will then need to enter the correct code word that was on the washer and then that square will be marked.

There will be 6 winners in this bingo round. Prizes will be awarded for the first regular bingo, first 4 corner bingo, first big X bingo, first small frame bingo, first large frame bingo and first blackout bingo.

First player with either of these will win the regular bingo.

The ante items will be divided between the 6 bingos as follows. The first item put in the bucket will go towards the regular bingo. The second item will go to the 4 corner bingo. The third toward the big X bingo. The fourth toward the small frame bingo. The fifth toward the large frame bingo. The sixth and seventh item will go towards the blackout bingo. We thought the blackout prize should be special and should be better than the other bingos. The eight item will go towards the regular bingo and the cycle will repeat.

We anticipate that it will take between 2 weeks and 1 month to complete one round. Players can join at any time. Someone joining late in the game can still hustle around to get all the washers and can easily catch up and win any remining bingos.
